Sour cream coffee cake

Since Dave is having some college friends over this weekend, I made a sour cream coffee cake from Ina Garten's Barefoot Contessa Parties!

I knew the cake would be really moist and delicious from all the butter and sour cream, but cinnamon crumble topping really put it over the top. I was hoping it would taste like my beloved cinnamon coffee cake from Corner Bakery and Starbucks, and it did.

It was so delicious-looking that I forgot to take a picture until we had nearly eaten half of it, haha. But I assure you it was quite a nice-looking cake, although it didn't quite look like the pictures from the book (which is unusual, for an Ina Garten recipe).

Also, I realized after we'd eaten most of it that I had forgotten to make the maple sugar topping! Oh well. We obviously didn't miss it!

This stuff was absolutely incredible - it might as well have been from Corner Bakery. If any of us even saw it sitting out, we would eat another piece.
