Banana bread

OK, so I'm not done with the Appetizers chapter of Better Homes and Gardens yet, but I had some bananas that were going bad, so I decided to make banana bread.

I have made this recipe at least a few dozen times before, but I had to at least document this for the blog, since it hails, after all, from the Bread chapter of Better Homes and Gardens. This is a fairly standard banana bread recipe, but I find that it's not as dense as other recipes I've tried. I also omit the nuts, which have ruined many a good bread and brownie.

Dave and I will be munching on this for breakfast for the next few days - mmm!
