Or, to be more accurate, "Strawberry-Rhubarb-Basil-Balsamic Mojitos." The title was too long to fit into my post's title line.
This is one from the Chicago Homegrown Cookbook, from a mixologist that teamed up with my own CSA farm. Ingredients: rhubarb, brown sugar, sliced strawberries, basil, and lime wedges. Pour the rum, soda water, and balsamic vinegar in there and you've got yourself a tasty little cocktail!
I served these after dinner, and they do pack a little bit of a wallop. (Let's just say that I forgot the soda water again.) They're good, though: very fresh-tasting, and all the flavors blend well! Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to go over to the TV, watch Star Trek, and zone out with my cocktail.
